Carbon Trust The Carbon Trust’s mission is to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy by working with organisations to reduce carbon emissions and develop commercial low carbon technologies. EU legislation is addressing these environmental concerns by the ‘phasing out’ of R22 refrigerant. All this legislation brings added costs to businesses.

They not only offer interest free credit to help you make your business more efficient, they also help you lower your energy bills and cut carbon emissions.

An unsecured 0% loan that could pay for itself
The Carbon Trust’s Energy-Efficiency Loans are unsecured and interest free, with no arrangement fees and a straightforward application process. Loans can be repaid over a period of up to four years, and many of our borrowers have found that their energy savings more than cover their repayments. The size of the loan offered and its repayment period will be based on your projected CO2 savings.

Is YOUR Business Eligible for a Loan?
Northern Ireland and Wales: All businesses based in Northern Ireland and Wales could borrow from £5,000 to £200,000. Some businesses in Northern Ireland may be eligible for larger loans of up to £400,000.

England and Scotland: Small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in England and Scotland could borrow from £5,000 to £200,000. (An SME is defined as an enterprise that employs fewer than 250 full-time equivalent employees and has an annual turnover not exceeding £40m and/or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding £35m.)
